Clayton Park’s General Manager, Brian Ashworth enjoys a good innings at Lancashire County Cricket Club where the bakery has won the contract to provide this years pies.
Having lost out last season to a local rival, Clayton Park Bakery was delighted to be invited straight back to supply the world famous cricket club with best quality baked goods for each of the Counties matches in 2014.
Lancashire County Cricket Club Head Chef Nic Ashurst fielded the contract applications and quickly selected the Clayton-Le-Moors based company as the clubs preferred supplier:
“It’s vitally important to us to keep our members happy. That means ensuring the best quality produce, the freshest bake and the best taste.”
Within a few days of the deal, the pie warmers arrived at Emirates Old Trafford and deliveries were arranged for each match.
The Award Winning Clayton Park Bakery is no stranger to sports grounds and already supplies a number of top Football Clubs including Liverpool, Everton, Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers, Preston North End, Oldham Athletic and Rochdale A F C.
Clayton Park Bakery also supply small shops through out the Northwest as well as quality chains Spar and Booths.
